Hi! Oh my goodness! To my surprise, Beauty Pie gave me a generous supply of some of their products for me to try out and review for you guys. I was shocked at how many items they sent me! How kind! I’d like to review each product for you by showing my favorite products listed first, as well as adding my own personal rating out of 5. Hope you find this post helpful!
There’s so much I want to share with you about Beauty Pie! What is Beauty Pie? A beauty subscription service like no other! It’s best summed up by Beauty Pie’s website — “Having a Beauty Pie membership means you can buy luxury skincare and makeup formulas at factory cost straight off the production lines of the world‘s leading labs and suppliers”
Marcia Kilgore is the founder of Beauty Pie. She’s created Bliss and Soap & Glory to name a few other brands.I think her Beauty Pie concept is incredible and brilliant! Read her 5 minute interview here.
My most-loved product from Beauty Pie! After using this for over a few weeks now, I’ve noticed my pores are minimized, which makes my makeup blend easier on my skin. When I first received this, I was quite confused by the name. But, I find that this acts as a primer to keep my foundation in place. The Beauty Pie website says that this product is
- Banana, caja and mango fruit acid smoothers
- Exfoliating black willowbark extract (Salicylic acid)
- Kiwiberry stem cells for healthy skin
- Vitabright extract for refining pores and reducing the appearance of pigmentation
- Purifying antimicrobial biosurfactant”
I love how it contains a natural salicylic acid, as I tend to get breakouts every now and again. I’ve noticed my skin appears healthier too as it’s a lot smoother. 5/5
This highlighter is not only beautiful and mesmerizing to look at, but it creates such an amazing highlight! Love how it’s also not formulated with fragrances, talc, and parabens. If you’re looking for a bold highlighter, go with this one! 5/5
Amazing consistency of this brow mousse. I never knew about a brow mousse until about a year ago! Now, I feel like it’s a nice alternative to a pencil or powder. It applies nicely and the darker shade I received works great for a stronger brow. Only thing is, sometimes the shade I have appears in spots a bit gray. 4/5
Such an incredible serum. I’ve never used a serum before, as I used to think they were for older people. But, that is far from the truth. Using a serum can help keep your face hydrated and can help prevent aging. This serum is formulated with one of my favorite ingredients, aloe vera! 4/5
The texture of this gloss is bomb! Once again, I’m surprised by how high end each product feels. It’s creamy and stays on your lips quite long. I love how the applicator has a thinner part and thicker to apply it easily. 4/5
Lip gloss has never been my favorite lip product as they tend to be too sticky. But, this one isn’t very sticky at all. It’s a gorgeous lip color too! I tend to feel the little sparkles, it feels a bit grainy though. 4/5
This blush is a nice blush! I haven’t noticed any downsides to this item, or any surprises. Does the job! 4/5
My preference for achieving a nice lip color is a lip crayon over a lipstick. That’s why I rated this lower than a five based on my personal opinion. But, it’s a lovely lipstick and glides on smoothly. I don’t think it has much product in it though once you scroll up the tube. 4/5
Too warm! Way too warm! I have to apply this very lightly or else I end up looking orange. I’ve tried better bronzers. 3/5
For some reason, I was confused by this product as I’m used to applying a face powder, not a radiance powder. I’m not one for a glowy look on most days. This powder doesn’t seem to glimmer much either and doesn’t do much at all to me. 3/5
In conclusion, Beauty Pie claims that the products are of high quality without the high price tag and I found after using the products that this is relatively true. I would definitely recommend Beauty Pie to those who love high end products, but don’t want to spend a large amount. If you find yourself buying high end products often, this will save you some money for sure! I’m actually considering getting a Beauty Pie subscription for 3 months as there are loads of products on their site I’d like to try out. Also, most of the products appear to avoid using harmful ingredients as most are paraben free, etc. I think the Beauty Pie packaging is ideal as a minimalist! I absolutely adore the clean design. And, the brand is thoughtful about product packaging and keep things simple. The products aren’t in heavy packaging and they use eco-friendly ink.
