What I’m Wearing:
Hi guys! I can’t tell you how much I love this color combo. Black and cobalt blue! I’ve seen some style icons sporting it and have also been pairing the two colors together for quite awhile now. My favorite way to style it is just this way with the leather jacket being blue, while the rest of the look is black. This outfit has a cool vibe to it that I will be reworking into different ways throughout my life. Such as, pairing a black dress with a cobalt blue leather jacket or a black leather jacket with a cobalt blue tee and black denim. This color combination is just classic. If you’re looking to mix things up and don’t want to wear your black leather jacket, a cobalt blue one is a must! Unless you prefer a pastel shade to wear with more girly things like light wash jeans and a white tee. Otherwise, I’d say go with a bold color in a leather jacket to keep the jacket looking edgy.
This blue leather jacket isn’t real leather. Having a fake leather/pleather/vegan leather jacket is better for the world than real leather. It’s not the best, as it’s composed of plastic, but it’s cruelty free. After following other sustainable bloggers, influencers, brands, etc. I’ve found out that this is a better alternative to real leather. I’m sure in the near future someone out there has or will create an even more sustainable fabric for leather clothing items, but until then, this is the one I’ll be wearing. It’s nice too how vegan leather requires little maintenance, unlike real leather.
As for this black basic tee from Everlane, it’s my go-to basic tee. I’m super glad I found this tee as I’ve been looking for the perfect, essential t-shirts to add into my wardrobe. I love the gray and black ones I have, but I’m still searching for a basic white tee as the one from Everlane is a little too see-through. Other than that, their basic tees are awesome and I look forward to purchasing more of their clothing items.
Hope you liked this look! Comment below letting me know if you own anything from Everlane? Do you have a favorite basic tee? Where’d you find it from? Would love to hear from you guys!
