Hi! Here’s my second post on the series of Fashion Week’s Street Style inspiration. This series is just that, inspiration for me for fall fashion, but also for you! Hope you find a few outfits that you like and want to somewhat incorporate in your style for fall. I find this super fun, as I enjoy searching through Instagram, Pinterest, other social media platforms, and Getty Images to help spark my creativity when deciding what to wear. These are just a few outfit ideas that I’ve gathered from London Fashion Week street style specifically, but I definitely continue to search for more through the media.
As I browsed images, I actually wasn’t thinking about trends that the people were wearing, but instead focused on the outfits themselves and whether they looked like they could be applicable to my own style. Some also are riskier style pieces that I want to try out as you never know which one might end up surprising you and mixing into your wardrobe.
Once I chose which to feature here, I discovered that some definitely include fall trends, trends of the season, but they do so by wearing one trend each. Thank goodness! Maybe that could mean that I tend to gravitate to those who sport outfits without the ‘trying too hard’ mentality and a ‘less is more’ approach. Whether or not that was taken into their consideration when dressing, I found that these outfits were my top favorite from the street style in London during Fashion Week. Some incorporated these fall trends in the outfits shown: sock boots, sheer, denim, plaid blazer, red, shimmer/glitter/metallic, and shearling. Do you see any more that I might’ve missed?
Comment below which outfit you like most and why? I’m so glad shearling is in since I already have a shearling jacket and it’s like being wrapped in the comfiest blanket for the cold! Love it! I’d wear it anyways, whether it was trending or not!
