It’s time for another addition to the Fashion Week Street Style Favorites series. This week I’m onto Milan Fashion Week, while next week will be about Paris Fashion Week (which happened just a week or so ago). I hope you guys are getting inspired from the fall street style at all the main Spring 2018 fashion weeks. I can make future blog posts on the trends for Spring 2018 on the runway too, if that’s something you guys would like? Let me know in the comments. That way you can be prepared for Spring by being inspired on trends and styles already shown on the runway. For me, I usually prefer street style that is current for the season and more applicable to my casual style, but you can always find inspiration from any forms of fashion from street, celeb, runways, etc. as well as in all things art. That’s what I love about fashion, it’s a creative outlet and form of expression with no rules (even though some may make you believe there are rules, there really aren’t — ask any fashion expert). It’s freedom, fun, and creative!
Picked at random, I then looked at all of the photos and noticed a few trends that the fashionista’s were wearing. Some of these include: red anything, patent leather, and white boots. I may end up finding one of the trends while shopping that I want to incorporate into my style, or look in my closet to see if I already have some I can wear depending on if I like the trend. I’m not one for the white boot trend as I find it hard keeping shoes clean, especially when they’re white.
I bet you will notice the clothing pieces and styles I tend to gravitate towards in fashion, after viewing these pictures or previous ones on the series. I definitely recommend you do the same by either using Pinterest or other image media like Instagram to find outfits you like and you’ll better understand your own personal style that way. It’s actually quite fun, too! It sure has helped me notice the styles I prefer. For example, in the street style from Milan, I was drawn to black pieces (no surprise as this is a neutral I wear often), patent leather (it’s shiny and has a sense of coolness to it), lace (I’ve always liked lace), and classics like denim Levi’s and a plain tee. Those are just a few examples of what I could purchase or already have within my wardrobe.
Anyways, hope you are inspired by my collection of images that I found from Milan Fashion Week street style! Comment below letting me know which look is your favorite? Which trend do you want to try for fall? What item you already have in your wardrobe you want to wear more of this season?
