When I noticed plaid blazer were trending, I was already on board for one. Mainly due to how blazers remind me of British style which is my favorite since it’s all about classics, but also because I’ve needed a new blazer for awhile now. I’ve been fortunate to visit London a few years back and fell in love with the street style there (and from British YouTubers, bloggers style too… haha). I guess you could say it was perfect timing because the pattern on this blazer makes any outfit from a bit blah to yah! Haha! This blazer gives any outfit more of a statement than your usual neutral one, which I also want to add to my wardrobe. But, as of now, I can’t get enough of this blazer! Thanks to being a boyfriend blazer, it can be oversized without looking frumpy, making it even more comfy.
I definitely don’t want to forget to mention how I found this plaid blazer from Target’s new clothing line, A New Day. My sister told me about it and she knew I was going to like it almost as much as she does! Not only does the new line include loads of classics and essentials for any wardrobe, but most of the line that’s made with polyester is from recycled water bottles! Talk about making it more sustainable. Thanks Target! I think it’s a great start for Target and one I’ve noticed a few brands have gone on board with. The sooner, the better!
I paired this plaid blazer with all of my favorite pieces of my personal style, high waisted jeans, a basic tee, and silver oxfords. All of these are in constant rotation throughout my day to day style, varying just enough. I love fall style and don’t want winter to come! This is one of my most loved outfits for fall since it incorporates everything I love wearing most often! I’ll have to switch out my metallic shoes for boots when it’s colder out in winter. Dang it! I can’t seem to live without these silver oxfords as they’re the most comfy shoes I’ve EVER owned and the best looking shoes of mine too. I love statement shoes! Seriously, so glad my boyfriend found them for me because I will have them for as long as they last. To me, silver just adds a futuristic, free-spirit vibe to any look.
